Appeals
HAVE YOU RECEIVED A COURT DECISION THAT YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH?
CONTACT OUR BUREAU AND BE ASSURED THAT OUR ADVOCATES WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ACHIEVE A FAVOURABLE OUTCOME IN YOUR CASE!
An appeal is a formal challenge to a court decision, submitted to a higher court with the aim of amending or setting aside a first-instance court decision that has not yet entered into legal force.
Ukrainian legislation establishes specific time limits for appealing court decisions.
Even where a court decision has already entered into legal force, our advocates will assess whether an appeal is still possible and, where appropriate, prepare a reasoned application for the reinstatement of the time limit for lodging an appeal.
This requires specialised legal knowledge and practical experience. Our Bureau’s advocates therefore approach each client’s case professionally, efficiently and with due attention to detail.

Do You Need an Advocate to Prepare an Appeal?
If so, seeking legal assistance promptly is essential, as legislation establishes strict time limits for lodging appeals. Our advocate will begin working on your case without delay and prepare and submit the appeal to the court within the applicable procedural time limits.
The cost of preparing an appeal, a response to an appeal, objections, an application for reinstatement of a procedural time limit or a withdrawal of an appeal ranges from UAH 3,000 to UAH 10,000, depending on the complexity of the case and the client’s financial circumstances.
Fees for military personnel and pensioners may be reduced by up to 50%.
Participation of an advocate in a hearing before the appellate court is charged separately at UAH 3,500.
Legal consultation (45 minutes) – UAH 300.
Where a review of the case materials is necessary because our advocates have not previously represented your interests in the case, the fee for reviewing those materials is UAH 1,000.
The advocate’s travel expenses to attend court are also charged separately.
The advocate’s fees for handling an appeal do not include the court fee payable for lodging the appeal. This fee is paid separately by the client unless the client is exempt from payment under the Law of Ukraine “On Court Fees”.
